Critical thinking – a way, one of MANY – of coping with yourself. Critical doesn’t mean just saying no. Nor does it mean you have to criticize everybody and everything around. Actually, you do not have to criticize anything. And, first of all, it does not mean you should be frustrated first. Just the opposite: it often helps prevent or reduce frustration. Why? Because, it means taking a look at the alternative options you have at hand, or you could have at hand, and thinking why one is better for you than the other. Searching for good arguments and assuming strategies to get one rather the other: more arguments than emotions.
